Andrew Maniglia - Experienced NY Residential and Mixed Use Developer

Andrew Maniglia is the vice president of development and community affairs for Standard Amusements, which operates the historic Playland Park in Rye, New York. He is responsible for environmental planning, meeting with government officials, and other duties. Andrew Maniglia also serves as a consultant and former vice president of Ginsburg Development Corporation, which builds residential and mixed use properties. He predicts profits-per-parcel and tracks construction progress.

Highlighting Mr. Maniglia’s career was his tenure as the deputy mayor of Yonkers, NY. Balancing a budget with minimal tax increases, he improved the Standard & Poor’s rating of Yonkers, NY, from negative to positive. He also oversaw collective bargaining and reducing the cost of its municipal bonds.

Mr. Maniglia was also vice president of development for the law firm of Gilberti Sinziano Heitz & Smith, collaborating with clients in several industries. He was also a member of the New York State Job Development Authority, which made low-interest business loans. He previously served as director of finance for the New York City Educational Construction Fund, which financed the construction of the $44 million Battery Park City School. He also held executive positions at Chemical Bank and Marine Midland Bank.

After graduating with a BA from Iona College, Mr. Maniglia attended the University of Bridgeport law school and took MBA courses at the Hagen Graduate School of Business. In his spare time, he enjoys music, leading a church folk group, and playing piano.
